HP Printer Repair Hints and Tips

When it comes to making sure that your Hewlett Packard printer is working well, then of course, maintenance will often be important, but if this doesn't keep it working permanently, then you will be looking for HP printer repair.

One of the most basic things that you can look it when your printer starts to show signs that it may not be working as it should, is to consider removing everything and slotting everything back together. By removing any paper from the printer, and then taking the trays out and removing any dust, you can often remove any blocks.

Another HP printer repair tip if the first one doesn't work is to disconnect the cartridges from their cables and then plugging them back in again, as often an ink clog can cause a problem especially if it is located around the nozzles that feed the ink from the cartridges into the main body of the printer.

You will want to have a look at the paper trays themselves to see if the paper has been going from the tray into the body of the printer correctly, as if it goes in at an angle, then it will trigger further problems such as paper jams within the printer. This is one of the common HP printer repair solutions which can often be solved by removing or replacing the paper in the tray.

If you are still having problems with your printer, then have a look at all of the rollers to make sure that the route the paper takes through the printer is rolling correctly, and that there are no jams in its path through the printer.

After trying all of these things, and you are still not able to get the printer working, then it is time to try and print a test page. Watching as it prints might be able to give you an idea as to where the problem is occurring.

And if all else fails, have a look at your telephone directory for a HP printer repair man that can come round and look at it with a pair of professional eyes.
