How can I define moving your laptop around with ease? For me, ease has to do first with moving it around without damaging it. When I am sure that the means I have adopted is quite safe for the laptop, I would then find a way of making it convenient for me too. Your biggest concern when you are traveling with your laptop is or should be the safety of the laptop. It would be very frustrating and annoying if you traveled with your laptop and at the end of your journey, you bring out your laptop maybe to do some very important thing only to find out that it is damaged. I am speaking from personal experience.

Once you know what to look out for in a laptop case that would be suitable for traveling, you can then find one that has all those features and offers the most ease of movement.

There are three major things to look out for in a laptop case for traveling and they include:

1. Water/Heat Proofing

2. Shock Absorption / Snug fit

3. High Pressure Tolerance.

Water proofing is something that we all know about. We all know that your the laptop should not be exposed to water. You should also know that heat would also not be in the best interest of your laptop. It is therefore very important that you get a laptop case that would both provide the water proofing and also protect your laptop from excessive heat.

One thing that easily damages laptops is having it fall around in the case. You need to find a laptop case that your laptop would not only fit into snugly, but which would also hold it nicely in place possibly with a Velcro strap. There is also the need for it to have adequate shock absorption. This would absorb any shock that would have been transmitted directly to your laptop and possibly causing some damages. Any laptop case that does not have these two important features, would be suicidal for your laptop if you take them on long trips.

Another thing that many laptops have suffered from is damage from the weight of an object on it. When something presses on your laptop, the screen is likely to get damaged. A laptop case that is strong enough to withstand the weight of an object placed on it should be used when you are going on a journey. If you use something like a Leather or Fabric laptop case, you may get protection from water and heat but getting protection from direct pressure on the laptop may be difficult. An Aluminum laptop case on the other hand would handle this well.

It is very important that you note all these when choosing a laptop case. There are other issues of convenience you can address after you have ensured that the laptop case is suitable. Some of this would include thing like laptop cases with rollers so you can roll them instead of carrying them.
