Many customers at office stores everywhere are asking for a new computer with XP instead of Vista. XP is a rare find at stores. Folks shouldn’t have to upgrade their software and hardware like printers and scanners if all they need is a computer. Many patches are available for Vista, but not all machines and software is available with the patch. Many fine folks are forced to buy new equipment and software after purchasing a new computer system. With Inflation on the rise, folks don’t need the extra expense that Vista is costing them. XP is more stable anyway.

Most online stores have a way you can narrow down the possibilities by brand, price, and other stuff. I found a ZT computer with great specs for $389.98. That was just the tower, keyboard, and mouse; but the system has XP, 1 gigabyte of memory, and it’s upgradeable. I already had a monitor, so the buy was perfect. This machine is quick with XP on it. XP can run fine even with only 128mb of RAM. The computer has a DVD burner, and more hard drive space than I need. The best part is I didn’t have to invest in upgrading my printer, scanner, and software. The machine saved me a fortune. It’s a bit early to buy Vista in my opinion, because it could cost you more than you realize. I recently spoke with a gentleman who has to learn Autocad for his work. He had to have a computer with XP, because the program still doesn’t have a patch for Vista. Can you imagine buying a new computer and realizing that the thousand dollar program you need to use won’t work.
It seems like the only way to get some folks to buy a new computer is buy changing the operating system. Folks start thinking about buying when they believe they own a dinosaur pc. If you want a new computer, but don’t want Vista, seek out links that are on sites like LinksforWriters.com.
