Relationship of Title Tag to the Body Text Content

Submitted by lillyjose2008

In the process of search engine optimization, the relationship of body text content to the title tag gives can give websites the needed edge as it helps to surge ahead in search engines. For the optimization of the content in the site, one must include in the body content the keywords used in the title tags. As a matter of fact, the title tags should reflect the content of that particular page and therefore it is necessary to repeat the tags of the web page.

To increase the relevancy of body text in relation to the title tag, one must use the same search word in body text that are used in the title tag. Moreover, this improves the relevancy of the body text of that specific search word. Importantly, the body text should be of relevance to the keyword.

Some of the leading search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo, consider that body text should be relevant to the keywords word used in the title. The body content should be on a topic and it must equally relate to both keyword and title tag. Over use or stuffing keyword word in to a completely unrelated manner will produce a negative impact. And, possibly the website can be penalized or dumped from search engine index. Therefore, keyword density is another important factor.

To define keyword density, it can be said that it is the percentage of words on the web page divided by the total number of occurrences of a specific the keyword. While observing keyword density, one must always make sure that the keywords are fitted finely in to your body text rather than being added purely for the purpose of search engine optimization. Above, the body content should be meaningful both to the readers, as well as to search engines.

The keywords used in body text content can be in either strong tag, but again, this should not be overused. You can put the main keywords in bold, but do it only 2 or 3 times for a 250 words content. This can help emphasize to search engine that what the page is all about and what is the targeted keyword.
