Don't be seduced by a virus

There are many computer viruses today that are constantly being detected and reported in order to make others aware of the threat. It is thought that the initial enticement of this email was that it posed as giving access to images of tennis star 'Anna Kournikova', however this was of course false; instead containing a worm virus that once the email was opened, would immediately embed itself into the computers files and memory working its way around the system. Once the worm was in the system it could efficiently access the contacts and addresses of the persons email account, rapidly sending the same email to other users, consequently infecting multiple computer systems.
This virus became so well known that it even once became the subject of the popular American t.v series 'Friends' in which one of the character's naively opens the legendary 'Anna Kournikova' email leading to the files being corrupted; immediately causing a degree of damage. The story line helpfully highlighted the ultimate distress a virus can cause, a topic that many people are non too aware of, yet are still easily fooled by.

The antivirus industry are aware of the development and spread of viruses that are emerging each day and are becoming more and more developed themselves on how to detect and tackle the problem.
