Replication
Replication is neither a peer-to-peer solution, nor a VPN-type system, but a distributed file system (realized across a set of client desktop computers) and a central server. It ensures that your teams are always working with the most current data, and that their changes are automatically synchronized through the central server.

TheftGuard™ provides that extra peace of mind, tracking and confirming each NomaDesk Dashboard’s unique serial number - with every software restart or synchronization. So you can rest assured, all sensitive data will be deleted, should a NomaDesk-enabled computer ever be reported lost or stolen.

Email2Folder™
With Email2Folder™, you can add team-documents to a workspace from any email-enabled device - including cellular laptops, public PCs, Macs and mobile phones - without installing new software. Files are sent directly into a workspace folder as an email attachment, which is separated from the email content, and both are automatically stored in a selected folder. For example, you could send files (such as photos) to any workspace, even from a mobile phone.

FileLink™
FileLink lets you distribute files without using an email attachment. By simply sending an email message to your recipients with a link to your file, they are directed to a browser page, where the file can be downloaded. FileLink™ also lets you track the history of each file, recording when a file was accessed and by whom.

Delta-Sync™
NomaDesk’s exclusive Delta-sync™ technology, which saves both time and resources because only the changes and updates you make are distributed across your Virtual Fileserver Network.

File Blogging
File Blogging lets you set your workspace as “read-only” and grant permission to guests to invite other guests. This enables you to publish files and documents to a growing audience of subscribers, dramatically increasing the File-Blogger’s reach.

Constantly being updated, the new NomaDesk Version 2.4 is quicker and easier to download. A workspace is automatically installed along with the dashboard and the software installer is now signed with digital ID from Verisign for a secure install. MS Outlook, Outlook Express (Windows Mail) and Google email clients can now be integrated into NomaDesk so that you can easily send FileLinks and invite other people to your workspaces. For mobile users, functions once only available through the desktop application are now accessible through the Internet.
