MS Exchange Server implementation probably runs perfectly without showing any errors or problems at all. Unfortunately problems do occur with any application or tool on your system and Exchange Server is no different. In the case of Exchange Server, you have to take in account the email client software and its particulars. In most of the cases when corruption hits MS Exchange Server, it affects the Information Store the most. Corruption usually occurs in Exchange database stores (.EDB and .STM database files) located in the "Exchsrvr\Mdbdata" folder on the Exchange Server. The .EDB or .STM files are highly important files on Exchange Server as these are the holder of user mailboxes on Exchange Server for specific domain or department.

Corruption of .EDB or .STM folders may create problems in accessing mailbox which stops the email communication and viewing emails and other entries created by the user. All this corruption may prove to be fatal for smooth functioning of your business and therefore it is important to rely on result-oriented third party software. Usually, administrators perform recovery operation using repair Exchange tool, from Exchange database files and mount the newly created mailboxes in server for continued performance. Recovery of user mailboxes and database from Public and Private Folders of MS Exchange Server with complete email data is easy with the use of qualitative repair Exchange Server software.

Public and Private folders save files such as "Dir.edb, Pub.edb, Priv.edb, Pub.stm" which store every information of user mailboxes such as connectors, message headers, text attachments in public, folders and user emails, mailboxes, address book details, journals, calendars, appointments, notes, schedules etc in private folders of the exchange server. The public and private databases of MS Exchange Server are effectively scanned for data by the repair Exchange software and user mailboxes are recovered along with each and every item which be fetched from the corrupt database.
