Windows Vista Registry Scanner

Submitted by naplesdave

Registry errors are malfunctions of the Windows registry, which indexes information on all hardware and software settings on PCs. If you attempt to load a program but receive an error message, or your computer takes an inordinate amount of time to load or shut down (sometimes even hours,) you might have a registry error. Registry errors are one of the things you are going to have to deal with sooner or later if you use a computer. It doesn't matter if you are one of those people who practically lives at their computer, or someone who just uses a computer to read and send email a few times a week.

Other problems which are associated with registry errors are software
problems, poor performance, and system crashes. In this article, you will discover ways to fix registry errors. Windows Vista registry errors are a common problem. As people download and install all sorts of applications and utilities more often than before - an interruption to the installation is bound to happen. In fact, registry errors are generally caused by frequent installation and un-installation of software, programs that did not uninstall completely and finally corrupted and/or unused hardware drivers. Besides causing these errors, a fragmented registry also causes a performance hit because the registry increases in size and there for it takes longer to load and read by Windows.

One such way of fixing errors in the registry is by doing it manually. Repairing the registry manually can mean accessing the registry directly by typing "regedit.exe" in the search box in the start menu, which entails a scan through the keys and values stored in the hives and deleting what you think are invalid entries at will. But I wasn't about to let the gang at my hosting company start hacking the Vista System Registry. The best way I was shown for fixing this is by getting a Registry Scan program and running it on each PC with Windows Vista. After scanning, I was presented with a screen that allowed me to select which registry errors to fix. Just watch the video on my website Calskin Registry Fix. I walk through each step - so you can clearly see what is happening.

With the rush in today's business place, especially as you can imagine, the web hosting business, we uninstalled software a lot, but still it caused us to have an unclean registry. Regularly performing a Registry Scan will make it clear how this affects your computer. Again, changes made manually in the registry by people not knowing exactly what they are doing are the source of many a computer error. Even experts fear to tread into the registry and that is why specialist software exists to repair registry errors.

If you're an average user, do NOT attempt to manually edit the registry files. And you really don't need to as I found out, with the program I show you in the video on my site. You'll see it find the errors and how I click to choose what I want fixed and cleared. It's really that easy. But I know there are a ton of the "fixers" and scanners out there. I'm telling you the one I found was the best for us at World Wide Mart hosting. I hope this helps you and you can get that error fixed real soon.
