Basement Jaxx is a critically acclaimed UK House duo that includes Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. They had tasted their first taste of success during the late nineties time period. Basement Jaxx had begun their career in Brixton, South London in the year 1994, where they had had several regular club nights at the club named Rooty. Tis had also been the namesake of their second artist album.

The aforementioned album, Remedy, had included the single titled "Red Alert", tat had been featured in the film named “Bend It Like Beckham” and also in several commercials which had included several commercials that had been run on Nickelodeon and Coca-Cola. Some of the other singles that had been a part of this album had been titled "Jump N' Shout", "Bingo Bango" and "Rendez Vu". The later remains to date, Basement Jaxx's highest UK chart entry. It had secured them a place on the number of fourth spot.
