Each and every blackjack player makes mistakes, even the experienced player who has devoted several years in understanding the strategies and winning techniques of the game. However, there are certain mistakes which are common among the rookies and they fall prey to these mistakes on a usual basis.

These mistakes are not so hard to identify if you pay a little bit of attention otherwise the results could be fatal and you will end up losing a lot of money. It is very easy to avoid these mistakes, especially when you are playing a live game of blackjack.

The fist common mistake that the rookies are habituated to make on a regular basis is not looking at the table limits. Often these inexperienced players are found placing bets for $10 or $20 at a table which has a minimum limit of $50 or $100. This becomes really frustrating for the dealers and the other players in a live game. This is a very simple mistake to make and the solution is even simpler. You just have to be a little more observant and look at the table limit. Before sitting down make sure that the table is correct for the amount of bet that you want to place.

Another very common mistake is to throw the chips in an unorganized manner inside the circle. The chips should always be organized in a single stack and the dealer will not get confused and will know whether you have doubled down or not. There is another common and silly mistake which inexperienced players have a tendency to make and that is to fiddle with the bet that you have already placed. This kind of activity is not entertained in the land-based casinos and should also be avoided in a live blackjack game.

Blackjack is a game which involves a lot of fun and intensity. Whether you are playing the game live or in a real casino, it should be played with a lot of observation. Sharp observation will help you to avoid the mistakes and as a result the chances of winning will also increase. The suggestion for the rookies is to play a couple of game with the virtual player, where money is not involved, before getting into any of real games. This will help them to understand the dos and don'ts of the game and will make them a better player.
