Well here it comes again, a whole new year of poker tournaments. Many poker fans and players are looking forward to the upcoming poker tournaments that are soon to begin, introducing many new players and bringing back those top players that are preparing to blow people away with their big cash pockets and top poker skills.

It seems that the stakes are going to be very high this year with the surge of top Vegas players expected to cross waters to join in the upcoming London circuit. It is rumoured that these players are arriving with extremely high stakes of up to $16,000. the high stakes games are expected to be held at the barracuda club on 1 Baker street where tournaments such as the WSOP and the EPT are rumoured to occur. Whilst these plans are not cemented every rumour that has been flying around has suggested a great tension filled high stakes tournament. With the London poker game circuit starting with new formats, it is thought that yet a new format is expected to take place as public feedback has suggested change. The three day tournament will have a re-buy of 5000 chips making sure that the stacks are still deep stacks despite it being named the 'recession busting format'. The London poker circuit event is expected to take place at the Kensington close hotel and a schedule has been set-up. The schedule is expected to look more or less like this. Day one A - Friday 11th September 7.30pm, reg from 6.30pm, day one B - Saturday 12th September 3.30pm reg from 2.30pm, day two 2 - Sunday 13th September 2.30pm. All in all this is expected to be an extremely fun filled tournament with a round varied group of some of the worlds top players.

Many fans are looking forward to the newly changed and updated format of the London circuit perhaps helping to earn London first place in the number one best European poker city. For everyone knows Dublin is currently top at the moment however with formats attempting to adjust to the recession, tournaments are expected to be just as interesting and exciting for fans and players alike. It could be just as exciting for people who like to play free poker, as many of these start off in this way to develop their skills and confidence, before playing for money.
