The gaming experience in Atlantic City begins with a stay in one of the multiple world class hotels. The pampering begins immediately when you stay in one of these Five Star accommodations. The rooms are luxurious and the food is out of this world. Each casino offers more services than gaming for their guests. There are eleven of the casino hotels right on the boardwalk, which is a destination in itself. This offers the opportunity to walk the boardwalk from the Showboat Casino all the way down to the Atlantic City Hilton Casino and Hotel. They each pride themselves on service and gaming experiences. My favorite hotel to stay at is Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino. It has 21 different restaurants and the spa at Ballys is unmatched on the east coast.

Once you are settled into your room, it is time to find some adventure. Each casino offers its own type of atmosphere and hospitality. The boardwalk offers a very pleasant way of exploring the casinos. This allows you to find the casino that suits your fancy. Once you have found one that you like you never have to leave. It can be like going to a gaming heaven.

A very pleasant day can be started by spending the early part of the day tanning on the beaches of the Jersey shore. Spend the afternoon strolling along the boardwalk, and then you can cap this experience off with a great dinner and show. The slot machines and gaming tables await every free moment.

Atlantic City is a great place to gamble. Everybody can find a game and stakes they like. Each casino has thousands of slot machines starting from a nickel and going up from there. If you are a cheap skate like me, you can play the slots all day long and not break a twenty-dollar bill.

The Wild Wild West, Claridge, and Ballys casinos are part of Ballys Atlantic City. I enjoy the atmosphere of Ballys casino. These three casinos combine for over 5,000 slot machines and over two hundred thousand square feet of gaming area. Ballys offers tablegaming from Black Jack to Pai Gow Tiles. I am usually cheap with slots, but do enjoy Black Jack. My best experience in Atlantic City involves these Black Jack tables. I was there for a business meeting. I was taught some of the intricacies of Black Jack by my CEO. That night he helped me win over five hundred dollars playing at a 5 dollar table. This might explain my preference for Ballys Atlantic City.

The Tropicana Atlantic City offers a completely different atmosphere. It is the largest hotel in New Jersey. It boasts over 70 restaurants, bars, shops, and nightclubs. The Quarter is a little slice of Havana in Atlantic City. The Tropicana is Atlantic City's luckiest casino (as voted by Casino Player Magazine readers). My biggest win with slot machines happened in the Tropicana. I was playing the nickel slots and hit two hundred dollars. This confirmed the vote for me.

All in all, every experience in Atlantic City for me has been extremely enjoyable. I think the Boardwalk and ocean greatly enhances the gaming experience. This makes it a better destination than Las Vegas for me.
