1. Betting Systems - Many roulette players have fallen prey to this myth in which they are taught to believe there is a system to winning at the game of roulette.

One such myth is the "Increasing or Decreasing" your bet after a win or a loss. Betting higher will make just make you lose your money quicker. It is not true that, after losing a certain number of bets, the odds are in your favor to win. Your odds of winning or losing will never change according to how many times you have won or lose.

The same is true for the opposite bet, in which a gambler lowers their bet after a win, believing the house has the odds now and your odds of winning again have just been lowered.

2. The Ball Has a Memory Myth - It's a ball! Balls do not have memories because they have no brain! This myth is so funny it's not funny. Some gamblers believe that if the color black comes up 10 times in a row, the odds of red coming up next has just tripled or more in your favor and will bet a huge amount of money on Red for the next spin! Not True!

All this will do is make you a very poor roulette player very fast. In order for that theory to work, it would mean the ball has a memory of the last 10 spins and remember they were all black; therefore making the ball more likely to pick red this next spin, how funny is that?

Your odds will be 50/50 regardless of how many times the ball lands on black or red. It could land on red 100 times, and you still will only have a 50% chance of getting black on the next spin.

3. Sleeping Numbers - Just because a number has been asleep, or has not come up does not mean its due to hit. Some gamblers will see a number not come up or be hit in numerous spins and believe the odds of it actually hitting are getting better and better. Not True! The ball will land where it may; no sleeping number is more likely than a wide awake number to hit. The odds are all the same.

4. Buying a Mathematical System - You can not beat the game of Roulette with these Mathematical systems, in order for a system like this to work you would need to be able to have some type of data history of the game to be analyzed first!

Roulette is a game of chance, any claims otherwise are false.
