Those that pay the bills playing online poker are sitting uncomfortably, just waiting for the dust to settle from the recently Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. As the IGEA slowly takes effect on the "gray" Online Poker Industry, it becomes tougher for the average person to cash in, decreasing the number of good games with highly exploitable players.

Given the uncertainty of poker on the Internet, pros, semi-pros, and even recreational players would be smart to find a new outlet for the traits that they have master playing poker for countless hours on end.

A great choice for many would be to try their hand trading the currency market. With a little bit of background reading and studying, a good internet poker player could potentially become a great day trader in a relatively short period of time.

Successful poker players are generally very good at developing a strategy and sticking to it. Excellent players can do this, plus they are good at looking at a situation based on mathmatical probability, and applying it to their cards, and each of their opponents styles.

Internet poker pros have a lifestyle that allows them to make money at any time of the day, all while sitting in their living room at a computer. Currency trading would allow players the same lifestyle, with an occupation with a much more stable outlook, and hopefully less variance.

Internet Poker players are also usually very dedicated and passionate people given their ability to sit for hours upon end, staring at a blank screen and focusing on making the correct decision. This process can be maddening, and those that can stay in complete control of their emotions are usually the most successful.

Currency trading will reward these skills, and it will also fulfill many poker players need for adrenaline and action. Poker players thrive off making quick decisions based on an inclination and currency trading will rewards this ability handsomely, given the proper amount studying and dedication. Yesterday's overnight poker pros could be tomorrow's day trading millionaires.

Scott Carlson thinks day trading would be a good alternative for Poker Players burned by the IGEA Legislation. To learn more about currency trading, please http://www.legalizepokeronline.com/ct.html
