Per Razz poker rules down cards are dealt as follows:-
The two down cards in the first dealing which are the pocket cards plus the down card in the seventh street card makes a total of 3 down cards.

Per Razz poker rules up cards are dealt as follows:-
Starting from the third street card through the sixth street card all are up cards. Therefore, with third, fourth, fifth and sixth cards being upcard it makes to a total of 4 up cards in the game.

Per Razz poker rules the betting rounds are initiated as follows:-
• A pre-determined ante is compulsorily contributed by each player.
• The high card of the third face up street card makes the first round of betting, which is the bring-in for this game. This is also called forced betting.
• The low card of the fourth face up street card makes the second round of betting.
• The low card of the fifth face up street card makes the third round of betting.
• The low card of the sixth face up street card makes the fourth round of betting.
• The last betting or the fifth betting round is initiated by the player clockwise close to the dealer.
• Showdown! Best low card from 5-4-3-2-A wins, immune to straights and flushes.

Per Razz poker rules the betting round increments are as follows:-
• In limit razz poker games in the first and second round of betting the small bet increments are used for raise and re-raises; starting the third betting round big bet increments are used for raise and re-raises.
• Pot limit betting structure like placing pot limit based bet applied in pot limit razz poker games.

Some confusion clarified about Razz poker rules are:
• At the show down, every player will have to use their 7 cards to form the best low card from 5-4-3-2-A. There are no community cards or replacement rounds in this game!
• Hands are judged based on the highest card in events of tie. The presence of every high card kills the chance for winning. 54,321 is the lowest best rank possible.
• Pairs kill the winning changes for a Razz hand. In cases where the players have pairs, the high rank pair of the low hand losses to the low rank pair of another low hand.
• In seven cards stud the 5 high ranking cards win, but in Razz the low high ranking card wins!

It is important to remember the Razz poker rules when planning your strategies like “pairs can kill your winning” “high rank can kill your winning” “Ace is low”
