You could get a pool that is ground level, but for the most part pool builders will charge you an arm and four toes for them to build it for you. Above ground pools are great because they satisfy the same purpose as a normal pool would and they are a lot cheaper. For those individuals who don´t know what an above ground pool is, it is a big metal type bowl thing, that you put in your backyard and you fill it with water. Its basically placing a body of water right in your backyard. No ground digging or any of that other monotonous work. Above ground pools are really cool for those people who really want a pool but don´t want to spend a fortune on one. However, more maintenance is required when choosing this type of pool structure.

If it is an above ground pool you want, keep in mind that you must always maintain it cleanliness. There is nothing more gross than an above ground pool that has a bunch of mildew and nastiness which has built up, weakening the lining of the pool. Eventually, the whole thing is going to burst open if you don´t maintain your artificial pool. In addition, like any other pool, you want to make sure that you keep the water clean with a filtration pump and chlorine and all that good stuff. So if you don´t have the big bucks to just throw around and you want a pool, consider an above ground pool because they are just as good and a whole bunch cheaper.
