Ronald William "Ron" Howard is an American movie director and a famous actor of the 1970s. Howard first became famous as an actor starring in the films of 1960s and 1970s. Since he quit acting, he has directed plenty of films, including the scandalous blockbuster The Da Vinci Code, and its loud sequel, Angels & Demons. The movie is grounded on the book written by Dan Brown, the author of The Da Vinci Code that made the humanity split into two groups - its supporters and opponents, including the Roman Catholic Church. Though The Da Vinci Code was forbidden in a lot of countries, a large number of viewers around the world have watched the film. The movie Angels & Demons renews to show the rivalry between the Catholic Church and science pictured in The Da Vinci Code film.

The plot of the film Angels & Demons features the desire of Harvard University historian and iconologist Robert Langdon to reveal the enigmas of a secret society known as the Illuminati. The Roman Catholic Church, particularly the Vatican, faces a crisis when the top four cardinals to replace the deceased Pontiff are abducted by members of the Illuminati that adhere to scientific knowledge. The Church is promised that each cardinal will be killed one per hour starting at 8 pm, culminating with an explosion of an antimatter bomb underneath St Peter's Cathedral at midnight wiping out the Vatican. To deal with this terrifying menace, the Church calls upon the services of iconologist Robert Langdon played by Tom Hanks who is very knowledgeable about the powerful secret society. He has to begin the investigation promptly, hasting to find the abducted cardinals by deciphering clues, symbols and other historical facts. Robert Langton accompanied by physicist Vittoria tries to uncover the death of the Pope and save the mankind.

The images of Rome in the film are glorious and breathtaking. The watcher has a chance to walk around the Italian capital and visit the most famous historical and cultural masterpieces together with the characters. The movie does well to involve interest through its explanations of historical facts and the inner workings of the Vatican. The plot keeps the watcher involved and interested till the very end of the movie. The story unfolds with unexpected twists and turns that leave the viewer thrilled.

--
View movies by Ron Howard here.
Science has changed beyond recognition extremely. It has touched all the areas of our living - from the food we eat to the way we spend spare time, and at the moment we are on the doorstep of the change in watching movies. Due to its simplicity and low cost downloading movies online is becoming more and more popular and is gradually forcing out video cassettes and cinema movies.
To start with films downloading you have to select an appropriate website. Here is the list of some common recommendations how to select a movie site.
1.	Do not forget to check that the format of online movie files is compatible with your viewing equipment (DVD-player or PC client). Remember that the same film in different formats has various downloading speed, that's why you should try to select the site with movies in the DivX format which is considered to be the fastest one. The most comfortable sites for downloading films are those that offer ready-to-play movie formats.
2.	You are to take a decision in advance if you want to burn you downloaded film to a CD or a digital video disc. Read the instructions at the site since not all sites give a possibility to burn their movies to a CD disc. CD discs are cheaper, but DVDs' quality is much higher, that is why in case you would like to keep the movie you burned for a long period of time and to watch it over and over again you would better choose a DVD disc.
3.	The quality of the movie is a very important aspect. It's obvious that the lower is the quality of the movie the lower is the price, but nevertheless, keep in mind that the cheapest does not usually mean the best. In most cases the cheapest movies aren't even possible to watch, in such a way it'll be a total waste of time and money. Give preference to DVD-quality films and you will never regret this choice.
4.	Take into consideration the list of movies at the site. There are a certain number of Internet sites that provide only classics and movies that were released long time ago. Try to make choice of the site with a wide range of movies that includes both classics and the latest movies.
5.	Take time to serf a number of websites and to compare prices. Some websites charge per every movie downloaded, others prefer to get a monthly payment. Select the variant that suits you the best and begin with creating your home movies collection.

--
Do you want to watch the newest movies at the minimum price? It's not a problem nowadays! Pay attention to the list of qualitative licensed movies and enjoy watching your most favorite comedy or exciting action films anytime!

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

These days the Internet has become a necessity for a lot of people. Years ago people primarily used the Web for e-communication purposes. But with a wide selection of on-line options easily available these days, such as blogging, searching for a job, finding friends and so on, the Global net has become essential. It has become an important part of our everyday routine. We download tunes, movies from the Internet and a lot more.
A larger number of websites offer full-length films for free. The question arises: why do people still buy expensive dvds in shops, if they can download films for free?
The matter is that not everyone is aware of the alternative. Actually, there are two options to download complete movies for free. The first variant is to share films through the P2P network. The p2p file sharing networks are especially popular with Web users craving to watch the latest films and loud blockbusters free of charge. The downside is the poor quality of films. More than that, you are at high risk of getting an incomplete or corrupted file.
The second option is to download full-length films from reliable sites which are quite hard to discover on the Web. The only disadvantage is that these sites offer a limited choice of films. Therefore, if you are searching for something extraordinary, you are unlikely to discover it in databases of these sites.
If you prefer free movies download sites, you need to be cautious when selecting a site to download a film for free. Pay a special attention to the terms and conditions. Some websites will ask you to make payments beforehand, others will wait until the downloading procedure is over and ask you for payment for you to proceed.
Very frequently free movies download websites offer free films, but to play them on your computer you need to buy purpose-built software from the site. Or you may be asked to pay a monthly subscription fee or a registration fee to be allowed to download films free of charge. Additional fees for burning a movie to a disk are also possible. But these fees are reasonable.
If you compare buying pricy dvds from shops with downloading full-length films almost for free from the Web, you will notice that the latter alternative is much more advantageous from the financial viewpoint. You can get a film of high quality and spare your money at the same time.

--
Now you do not need to shop for movies in your local shop wasting your time and cash. You can simply surf the Internet for a reputable movies download website. It will take you a few mouse clicks to download a movie online online trouble-free. There you may also watch trailers of blockbaster movies.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Australian actor Paul Ashton recently wrapped shooting the feature film "Serial Buddies," an indie comedy labeled as "the first serial killer-buddy film of all time," produced by Maria Menounos and directed by Keven Undergaro. In it he plays one of the two starring roles, and performed opposite the likes of Christopher Lloyd, Christopher McDonald and David Proval. It was an experience and opportunity that seems a far cry from Wagga Wagga, the small town in Australia where Paul grew up.

Ashton started acting at the young age of seven performing with Louise Blackett's Theatre Workshop. It was simply a natural inclination at the time, and he had no idea of the huge role acting would play in his life in the future.

He hails from a creative lot - though his parents are both in medicine (one orthodox, one alternative - a lively combination he assures me) his three siblings are all artists too. One of his sisters, Alexa Ashton, is also a successful actor. She starred in ‘Home and Away' and like Paul has worked for the prestigious Bell Shakespeare Company .

In asking him about his family's thoughts on his career choice, Ashton was quick to state: "My family is extremely supportive. I think my Dad would've preferred it if I'd finished my law degree before heading to drama school, but never once have my parents tried to stop me from doing what I love to do. They've been there supporting and providing 100% and are proud of the paths we've all chosen."

After his family moved to Canberra when he was 12 years old, Ashton saw a school production of ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead' by Tom Stoppard. It galvanized his love for performing on stage, and shortly after he saw the first ever Bell Shakespeare Company production - it was ‘Hamlet' - and he knew this was what he was destined to do.

EARLY INFLUENCES

In speaking of early influences, Paul notes Rob Sitch, the Australian actor/director who was part of "The Late Show" and who with his colleagues, went on to produce some of Australia's best-loved films, most notably "The Castle."

Other early influences included Baz Lurhmann, Kenneth Branagh, Anthony Hopkins, John Cleese, Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, Michael Winterbottom, Ben Kingsley and Kate Winslet. He trained at VCA Drama School in Melbourne, where teachers such as Lindy Davies, Tanya Gerstle and Leisa Shelton, and directors Peter Evans and Brian Lipson also had a big impact on him during those formative years.

But he sites John Bell - who created the renowned Bell Shakespeare Company - as making a particularly large impression on him. Paul recalls: "Watching their productions every year in Canberra, and meeting him and some of the other actors as a teenager was really inspiring for me. I was a drama nerd in its purest form - I used to get their autographs. It was a dream of mine to work for them."

In a true career defining moment, John Bell came and watched Ashton play Orlando in As You Like It in his final year of drama school (Paul had written a letter inviting him to come along, and was shocked when he received a call from Bell's assistant confirming the dates). He worked for Bell's company a year later - a dream come true.

Earlier that same year, Paul had been cast as the role of Ben on the award winning Australian show "The Secret Life of Us."

It would be four years of living and working in Sydney before Hollywood called. During this time, Ashton also was the frontman for popular local indie rock act, Minder.

He reflects back to that time, "I made the move to Los Angeles, like so many other of my compatriots because it is the centre of the global entertainment industry and provides the most diverse range of opportunities possible. That diversity appeals to me, and I think is a better fit for me as an actor."

In a sit-down interview at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Ashton shared his thoughts with me about his new life in the mecca of the entertainment business.

SITDOWN:

Bobbi -Q: Paul, what is one of the main differences between being an actor in Los Angeles versus Australia?

Paul -A: Undoubtedly the first thing you discover when you arrive is the scale of it. The sheer size of the city itself is a good indicator, there are just so many people and it's so competitive. It can be hard to know where to start. You go from knowing most people in the industry and most people knowing you, to knowing no one and in a way, starting again.

But there's a real sense of possibility and that anyone's got a shot. There's a ‘yes' attitude that underpins much of the American psyche, and I really respond to that.

Bobbi- Q: How did you get the role in "Serial Buddies?"

Paul- A: I got the role by auditioning. Casting Director Jen Cooper had seen some of my work last year and she called me in to read for the role. At first they didn't think I was right for Gregory, but fortunately I won them over.

Bobbi -Q: Was the character easy to play for you?

Paul -A: There were certain parts of Gregory I had to work very hard on - he has a very dark past and was damaged from years of abuse and neglect.

But his flamboyance and physicality were a huge amount of fun to take on, and in that sense, came more easily. But he was demanding at all times and I had to stretch as an actor to get there.

Bobbi-Q: What acting technique do you use? Are there elements that are essential to success?

Paul-A: I don't work with any specific technique. Certainly my training had a big influence on how I approach my work, and over the years I have adapted the principles I learnt into more of my own thing.

Elements that I think are essential? Nothing new - research and script analysis, using the imagination and understanding the point of view of your character. And then, most importantly playing the moment.

Bobbi-Q: What was it like working with the cast of "Serial Buddies?"

Paul-A: I felt extremely privileged to work with a long list of well established and very talented actors.

We had core group of guys that were a joy to spend time with on set. The other 3 guys all have comedy and improv backgrounds, so there were always plenty of laughs, with lots of innovation and creativity when the cameras were rolling.

To work with an iconic actor like Christopher Lloyd. Playing my dad! It was wild, and a career highlight for sure. He was a gentleman and a joy to work with. And Chris McDonald too? No way. Comic genius right there. We had a lot of fun doing our scene together.

And to top it off - to have Hal Rudnick as Gary, to my Gregory—perfect.

Bobbi-Q: What characters or roles do you want to see yourself playing?

Paul-A: I love both comedy and drama, and never want to restrict myself to just one genre or form.

Bobbi-Q: What are you currently doing?

Paul-A: I'm currently in post-production with a short film I made before I shot "Serial Buddies." It's called "Champion" and I'm planning on entering it into Tropfest in Australia early next year. It was a script I wrote, directed and produced.

Other than that, auditioning and entertaining lots of friends from Australia!

Bobbi-Q: What is your goal for this upcoming year?

Paul-A: To continue to challenge myself to be better. Of course, I'd love to see " Serial Buddies" make the submission deadline for Sundance and then of course get in - though that's now out of my hands. That would make it a good year straight up. And I want to start working on my next self-devised project. I'm just not sure what it's going to be yet.

Bobbi-Q: How do you have fun and relax?

Paul-A: Spending time with friends, going to the movies, exercising, playing music, yoga, and when I can— skiing.

Bobbi -Q: Are you married, single, or dating?

Paul-A: Single, but open to meeting someone.

Bobbi -Q: What city did you live in before here?

Paul-A: I lived in Sydney before I moved here, but my family is based in Canberra, so that's home really. Mum and Dad have a beautiful house there, big garden out the back, and the place is full of amazing organic and biodynamic food and life-affirming healthy things. My mum is an alternative medicine practitioner, and Dad's a doctor, so it's always interesting.

Bobbi -Q: Tell us about your music.

Paul-A: I played music since I was 5. I started on the piano, and then later also played the Viola and guitar. I played in my school orchestras and sang in my school choirs, Music's just always been there as something I did. But it wasn't till I taught myself the guitar at the age of 18 that I started writing and playing on my own a bit. Before moving to LA I actually was part of an indie rock band in Sydney. I'd written a bunch of songs over a few years and a mate suggested we start a band together so we did.

I'm actually playing my first gig in LA in a month's time. Just some low key acoustic originals. Should be fun.

Bobbi -Q: What ‘original music' are you providing for the film "Serial Buddies?"

Paul-A: There's a song in the film that Gregory sings to his father. I was trying to come up with a tune for it - so I knew what I was doing when we shot it. It developed into a little more than what was on the page. I liked the sound of it, so recorded and sent it to Keven. He loved it and so we arranged and recorded it with genius musician, Giulio Carmassi. It should appear in the film now, which is great.

Bobbi-Q: Tell me about these YouTube video blogs you posted while filming "Serial Buddies". That was original, why did you do it?

Paul-A: They were just a way to document/blog about the time on set so that there was a fun record of it, and so that anyone , including my friends and family, could have a peak behind the scenes. And to try and get the name of the film out there a bit. With indie films, every little bit helps.

Bobbi -Q: Do you have any special thanks to give anyone in your life?

Paul-A: Where do I start? First and foremost my parents. They're the most generous and unconditionally supportive people I know. Even outside of looking after our family. And my siblings too - just wonderful people who've helped shape who I am. I also have an extraordinary group of friends stretching right back to my early days in Wagga Wagga. They know who they are, and we're still in touch regularly, and they've always believed in me and that's a rare feeling.

Oh, and of course, Steven Waugh - the greatest Australian cricket captain of all time. The ultimate inspiration of my life.

Paul Ashton lives in Los Angeles, CA and is a writer, director, actor, musician and stage performer.

He is managed by Prodigy Talent Group.

--
Bobbi Miller-Moro is an author, filmmaker and founder of Women Without Borders US. She owns and operates an online marketing and branding company in Los Angeles.Indie Marketing Genius

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The Transformers made a killing in the box office for both of its films. And not only that, it also resulted in the current frenzy in Hollywood to remake all of the popular cartoons that were shown on TV in the 80's. One such films to be shown is G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, based on the popular G.I. Joe cartoon and toy line.

For those not in the know, the G. I. Joe franchise is all about the adventures of an elite group of soldiers known as G. I. Joes (what else). The Joes, as they are often referred to, must fight the terrorist organization Cobra and their leader, the mysterious Cobra Commander.

As have been revealed by information coming from the film, instead of focusing on a particular adventure of the Joes, the movie will focus on their origins. It will also reveal how Cobra came into being, as well as the origins of Cobra Commander. This can be seen as a guarantee for a sequel in case the film turns out to be a hit.

But is G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra the next big one to hit the theaters? This one is not yet certain, however, there are some hints that you can bet on. The movie cast list itself proves quite promising. Dennis Quaid heads the list as Hawk, and is sure enough to give the movie at least some impact. However, there are still some reservations among fans about the other cast members. One of the most anticipated characters in the movie is Cobra Commander himself. And with no images of the live action Cobra Commander available yet, fans are still pretty much waiting. On consolation though is that the role will be played by Christopher Eccleston, who played the Doctor in the popular Doctor Who series, which pretty much gives audiences an idea.

Another thing that fans are eagerly waiting for are the costumes, vehicles and fight scenes that the cartoon is very much known for. The promotional photos shown of the character Snake Eyes shows a definitely good-looking suit that is close to the original. On the other hand, preview of the "accelerator suits" were not quite well received by many fans, maybe due to it being new to the franchise.

And then of course, there is the story. Don't expect critics raving on this one. Movie critics, for some reason or another, abhor anything that is based on a cartoon. Maybe what would make this movie definitely work is a story that will make fans giddy with delight, while still letting the general public make heads and tails about it. And this we won't see until the film is released.

So is G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra a must see movie? Well, we still have three weeks to wait and see.

The count begins as the fresh and exclusive Aladin movie trailer is out ubiquitously. The trailer is a feat to the eyes as a lot of visual graphics has been implemented which gives it a fairy tale look.

A fortune has been spent behind this movie and it took eons to hit the silver screen. But now after looking at the first hand trailer of the movie, we can say that it was all worth it. Aladin movie trailer will really impact the minds of the children all around the globe. Not only because it is a fantasy film and the central character of Aladin is cognized to all, but also because of the presence of Amitabh Bachchan.

Over the years we have scene Amitabh Bachchan doing justice to variety of roles. But recently, what has been observed that, after the success of a movie like Bhootnath, Big B connects well with the children. Big B has developed a new niche for himself in the film industry. His movies like Shahenshah, Jaadugar, Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na, God Tussi Great Ho has really appealed to the youngsters and the minors. Though many of these movies didn't do well at the box office, but Big B's association and the work in these movies were commendable if not for the critics but at least for the children. Apart from playing Genius the Genie in Aladin, Big B will also be seen in the forthcoming venture christened Taalisman a movie which is based on the novel Chandrakanta. So, the task on Big B's shoulder is that a whole new age group of audience is there having a lot of expectations from him. So Big B holds a heck lot of magnitude in pulling the children and their parents to the theatres.

Aladin has all the potential to become a grand success as it is something the children can relate to. For instance, a movie like Hanuman does a good business but a movie like Ghatothkach fails to impress the kids at the box office. That happens because not many kids can relate themselves to Ghatothkach, how they can for Hanuman. Hanuman is someone they have been hearing stories since childhood but Ghatothkach is Bheem's son, not many children know.

In the same way, Aladin is known to all and children are addicted to the tales of the Arabian night. And this is the first time ever a Bollywood has undertaken such a project.

The movie has a heavy star cast to go with all the visual effects and the fairy tale story. Sanjay Dutt who is playing a hideous, iniquitous character of the Ringmaster has a pinch of Riddler's moral fiber in it. Riteish Deshmukh playing Aladin wholly and solely suits the character. Newbie Jacqueline Fernandez is looking suave with her debonair chic approach. And last but not the least; no one can fit better to play the role of Genius the Genie than Amitabh Bachchan. The movie has all the ingredients to please the viewers.

Aladin is slated for a Diwali release or a post Diwali, but one thing is for sure, the movie will surely be among the talks when it comes to play. There is a lot of expectation from this colossal film and the expectations go to whole new level after you witness the promo. Let's hope that Aladin's magic spreads like a wildfire.

--
Srinjan Bhowmick has a flair for writing for bollywood movies. Currently he is writing for Aladin. It is hoped that Aladin Movie will be a great success.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

I love Terminator. I love Terminator 2. Terminator 3...well we can gloss over that and put it in a box with Aliens 3, Batman and Robin et al.

Terminator: Salvation could have been great. It could have been the apocalyptic visions of Sarah Connor come alive. But it wasn't. Visually all is well. The budget seems to have been spent on sweeping aerial camera shots and they are impressive. Cinematography has come a long way from James Cameron experimenting with steady cams but that doesn't mean you forego a decent storyline for action. The film is very dark and Christian Bale must have gotten some throat lozenges for that voice of his is better than in Batman but at times you strain to understand what he's saying. The exchange he has with control after the spectacular helicopter scene is just...well...odd. To be honest he shows little emotion other than slightly angry and this doesn't help when the film is resting on what should be the pivotal relationship between him and his father played by Anton Yelchin - who is rather good and perhaps the only saving grace.

The film lacks heart with an ensemble of characters that seem to be just there for the hell of it.

Why have Bryce Dallas Howard in the film? Her character is underused and any emotion that could have been portrayed between John and Kate is lost. Maybe she'll be better used in the next instalment. The character Star has been lifted directly from Aliens (Newt with less character and no back story) and again feels superfluous to the film's narrative.

For the most part I spent my time in the cinema recognising scenes from other films (Hunt for Red October, Aliens and Terminator amongst others) and grimacing at the terrible inclusion of catch phrases with "I'll be back", "Come with me if you want to live" being thrown about as if no-one will realise that this film is the fourth part of the Terminator series. It is cringe worthy. The terminators are poor, the T-800 seems to have forgotten that it has knowledge of human anatomy that makes it a killing machine and the 'bike' terminators can easily be ridden even though they have no steering or brake system.

My tips for the next film? Stronger story, stronger acting and most of all stronger terminators. I'd only recommend to those who didn't like the first two films.

--
For more film reviews like this one: visit Review Centre.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

You should be able to get tickets to the latest movies without any hassle when booking online. The site will remember your history, your preference and will shortlist the movies in your preferred genre. This add-on feature should make it easier for you when it comes to narrowing down the choices, especially if the theater happens to be a multiplex. Quite often, when purchasing tickets online, you'll find that the tickets are offered at a discounted rate, so you should be able to save a few bucks by heading to the nearest online counter.

Most theaters allow you to customize your theater experience further, by allowing you to place your order while booking your movie tickets online.
