Audiolife Launches "How-To" Series for Indie Artists and Musicians

Submitted by Aaron Wiener
Thu, 4 Dec 2008

LOS ANGELES, CA--(December 4, 2008) - Audiolife (www.audiolife.com), an Artist Services Company headquartered in Los Angeles, California, has announced the launch of "Garage To Glory": a monthly "How-To" series facilitated and written by Co-Founder and VP of Artist Relations, Aaron Wiener.

The company, which will launch the first-ever comprehensive web-based platform specifically designed for artists in January 2009, has created the series to provide useful guides and industry tips for artists and musicians who are on the up-and-up, but may not yet have the deep pockets or exposure to navigate a complicated marketing and promotions plan.

"My overall objective with the series is to offer simple, clear and cost-effective tools and resources that can rocket an unsigned artist or indie band toward a successful career," remarked Wiener. "If someone believes in their music and commits to embracing the business side with these tools, anything is possible."

The series, which officially launched this month with "How To Blow-Up Your Band On An Artist's Budget," explores everything from social marketing and media tactics, to grassroots promotions and email marketing. In the coming months, Audiolife envisions the series including topics specifically requested by musicians.

"Audiolife was created from a true passion for music and a desire to provide the tools needed to launch careers without big money or being tied down by major record labels. This is merely one more resource we are offering artists in addition to the January launch of our web-based platform and other exciting yet-to-be-revealed services."
