Elvis gospel is a web site that is a group that believes God sent Elvis to earth to evangelize the Lords word. Some of the facts they state are true. Elvis was born and raised in the bible belt of America and he was known to have read his bible. He was also known to have bible studies in his home during the early part of his movie career while in Bel Air California.

Elvis did play and record gospel music. Some of his backup singers for him during his career were gospel groups that included the Imperials, Sweet Inspirations, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps. At times Elvis even recited passages from the bible while on stage.
