Elvis photos: the King live on.

There are many Elvis photos that were taken all throughout his life and career. One place online I like to visit is elvis-postcards.com. Here there are 100's of photo's of the King. My favorite is the King and his cars. From the Pink Cadillac to the sports cars he loved to drive.

He especially had a love affair with luxury cars. But to the King, a car was to be used. Like his 1954 Fleetwood Cadillac. He not only went on tour in it but this same car was used to transport chicken, ducks and turkeys to his farm at Graceland. The car did smell after that and was sent to the dealer to have it cleaned. But according to Elvis it was never the same and he decided to buy a 1958 black Cadillac limousine.

Elvis showed how he loved life and valued it. A good example of this is when he purchased a Rolls Royce Phantom V in 1961. He brought it home. His mother's chickens peaked at the finish and ruined the paint job. But instead of getting upset or mad at the chickens, he just had the car repainted 6 times.

There are also the sad photos of Elvis. Like the last know picture of Elvis driving his car just hours before his death. Even the President of the United States made a statement to the nation saying" with Elvis Presley a part of our country died as well".

The King's last ride in a luxury car was in a Cadillac. The ride was one of the last of the Elvis photos taken of the hearse.
