Michael Jackson is the most popular celeb on Facebook beating Barak Obama with around 7 million fans on his fan page. Just after his death, his fan page observed the highest lift in its fan base jumping from 80,000 to 6.4 million. Fan page grew as fast as 20 fans per second and even more in high traffic hours. Michael Jackson's page with continuing growth is considered to be the largest assemblage of his fans on the web that any of the celebrities have ever received.

Everyone's flying to Los Angeles for Michael Jackson's memorial, while CNN partnerships with Facebook for an online live commemoration ceremony. Just like the two giants colligated for the live streaming event of presidential inauguration, they come together again for Michael Jackson.
