Review of the Hank Mobley CD Thinking Of Home

Submitted by isolvum

The exceptionally talented Rock artist Hank Mobley has released him CD entitled Thinking Of Home. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Hank Mobley fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Thinking Of Home Hank Mobley’s artistic excellence is on full display as Mobley has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.

Hank Mobley has been a super star in the Rock genre for quite some time now and Thinking Of Home is an excellent illustration as to why. The CD launches with a great track, Suite: Thinking Of Home / The Flight / Home At Last, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It’s a really nice track.

One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and you’ve got one of Hank Mobley’s most impressive releases ever.

If you’re a Hank Mobley fan this is a CD your collection flat cannot be without. In fact, this is one of those CDs that you don’t even have to be a fan of Mobley, or even Rock to know is good. This is just good music. Period.

While this entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 3 - You Gotta Hit It, track 4 - Gayle's Groove, and track 2 - Justine

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Suite: Thinking Of Home / The Flight / Home At Last. Outstanding!
