The Hip Hit the Road Again!

Formed in 1983, the Tragically Hip have since grown to become one of Canada’s most popular and influential rock groups. Affectionately known by their fans as simply ‘The Hip’, these multi-award winning rockers are notorious for their frenetic, energetic live shows. Lead singer Gordon Downie, in particular, is well known for often improvising renditions of songs.

The Hip released their eleventh full-length studio album, We Are the Same, on April 7, 2009. The album quickly climbed to #1 on the Canadian charts just days after its release, certifying its position as another classic album in the band’s already impressive discography.
