Celebrity autographs can be great investments, if you know how to buy them. Here are some pointers.
Spotting fake autographs. What establishing authenticity can be a big problem when it comes to autographs of celebrities, especially because many celebrities frequently change their signatures.

The best protection is still common sense - if the deal is too good to be true, it probably is. To check the spelling. Many false specify the names of the characters incorrectly - Cate Blanchett fakes are sometimes written 'Kate Blanchett,' for example. Also check the material. Do not expect an alleged original Bruce Lee autograph laser-printed images to be real, because Bruce does not live long enough to see laser printers.

Note that there are things like 'secretarials,' or autographs signed and sent to celebrities' assistants for them. These types of autographs are useless - not bothering to invest in them.

Some celebrities keep track of signatures damage over time. What keeps a list of people who have requested autographs for authentication. The famous boxer George Foreman, for example, maintains a register of the names and addresses of each individual who writes to ask him for an autograph. He says that does this to see if the request comes from a real fan, or a dealer who only wants more autographs to sell.

Understanding value. Not all the autographs of celebrities will appreciate in value. If you're a serious collector and I want to make money from your autograph, be sure to buy only those with a high market potential. Autographs from notorious celebrities, celebrities who died tragically at a young age, celebrity and controversial with backgrounds are very attractive investments for collectors. For example, the autographs of Marilyn Monroe and Heath Ledger, who not only died, but also young people led scandalous lifestyles, are much sought after. Investing in these pieces, and will certainly make a profit
