While concerning Medigap insurance it is essential to note that these plans are only supplementary insurance plans to the original Medicare and therefore have no individual existence. No one can even purchase a Medigap plan independently without getting enrolled to the original Medicare plans. It is only if you are already a beneficiary of the original Medicare part A and B you are eligible to get enrolled for the Medigap insurance.
