First is Farm Bureau Insurance. This company has been in business for a number of years and is what is considered a standard insurance company. This means they write policies only for people with good driving records and have had insurance with another company for so many months with no lapse in coverage. Farm Bureau Insurance will not write car insurance for people under the age of 25 unless they have the parent's or guardian's auto insurance also. They do not write SR-22's for new customers and sometimes not even for existing customers. Farm Bureau Insurance will in no way exclude a spouse from a policy. Farm Bureau Insurance does offer quiet a few discounts from safe driver to discounts for having other policies with them (i.e. homeowner's insurance, farmowner's insurance etc). They also offer multi-car discounts if there is more than one vehicle on a policy. Farm Bureau Insurance is in each state and each county of that state. You can call them or go online for a quote. However, it is best to go into your local office to have a policy written for you. The one thing that makes Farm Bureau a little different is the fact that for them to write you a policy, you must pay an annual fee. However, with this fee you get numerous other services from free notary to reduced rates on tax preparation.

State Farm Insurance is similar to Farm Bureau Insurance. They basically have the same discounts and same rules and regulations. State Farm Insurance premiums are pretty comparable to Farm Bureau's. Both of these companies have some of the lowest premiums available. State Farm does not have an annual fee at least in most states. Again, you can go online or call for a quote; but it is better to deal with a local office to get them to write a policy for you.

Now if you are in need of an SR-22, need to exclude a spouse, have a poor driving record, not been carrying insurance for a while, or are under 25 and need insurance then there is a wonderful company which do all of these.

First is Safe Auto. Safe Auto is only offered in 14 states, but they are one of the best companies to work with for any of the above mentioned situations. They have some excellent rates and are very easy to deal with. You need to call or go online to get a quote, but they have a number of ways to pay if you need to policy right then. You can pay online, over the phone with a debit card, credit card, or check by phone, or you can wire the money to them. From then on you can pay by mail or any of the other ways.
