Jobs That Offer Affordable Group Health Insurance to Employees Are In High DemandsSubmitted by hamilton.ronnie5 Mon, 18 May 2009
If you are the owner of a business no matter what size it is, you care about your employees. Not only do your employees work for you in order to make your business successful, but they also they are part of a community or group. You, as an employer, care about them and want them to be healthy and happy. You can't always make sure they are happy, but you can help them stay healthy. One of the ways to do this is by offering your employees affordable group health insurance. With the economy in the situation that it is in many people are unable to afford health insurance unless they are offered a special plan through their employer.
There are many different types of health insurance that can be provided to groups there are plans that cover just the bare minimum that can be offered at very low costs to employees, and there are other plans that can be offered that are fully extensive offering coverage for even the smallest of things. Depending on what you want to offer your employees there are many different insurance options and don't think just because you are offering them the lowest cost plan around you aren't offering them enough, many of these people may not be able to pay for insurance on their own if it wasn't offered through their employer. One of the best things about group plans is that they give companies the flexibility they need to cover the entire workplace, group, or organization. There are many organizations across the country that offers members affordable Group Health Insurance, some of the organization that do this are organizations like AmeriCorps which is a service opportunity for people of all ages. Under group plans everyone who is eligible is covered. Worried that one of your employees may not be eligible? Well don't worry, the age and physical condition of the people who are being covered is irrelevant. The way this is possible is because unlike individual insurance, everyone is looked at as a whole, so if there are 100 people in your company, maybe 10 would be considered "high risk" and these people would be counterbalanced by the other 90 people who are healthy. The only other thing that is taken into consideration when group plans are looked at is how dangerous the job is that the employees do. If it is a normal office job the cost per person would be lower just because the likelihood of someone getting injured while they are at work is lower then someone else who may do a job that is more dangerous like working on a construction site.
