Wedding Insurance - Suits

Submitted by Josie Anderson
Mon, 16 May 2011

Wedding insurance can protect suits that you hire or purchase against loss and damage. If your suit is stolen whilst in your care, or is seriously damaged, your wedding insurance should cover the cost of repairing or even replacing your wedding suit. With a good wedding insurance provider, you should be able to take out a flexible wedding insurance policy which will protect your whole wedding from £10,000 to £50,000, which will include protecting your suit.

The groom's suit can help set the tone for your wedding day, which makes the suit an important part of the ceremony. But with so many styles to choose from, which suit suits you?

Morning Suit:
Traditionally a Morning Suit is made up of a morning jacket, waistcoat and striped trousers. It is a formal dress, usually only worn at weddings and special events such as the races.

Top Hat and Tails:
This formal option will give you a chance to shine. You don't have the chance to step out in top hat and tails very often - so why not take your big chance on your big day.

Something Colourful:
You can express your character and sense of style with a brightly coloured suit. There is nothing to stop you walking up in the aisle in purple, blue - or you could even join the bride in wearing white.

The groom, best man, father of the bride and ushers usually wear a suit with a similar style. Whilst you don't all have to wear exactly the same suit - like bridesmaids often wear exactly the same dress - it is a good idea if everyone has the same level of formality. In the end, however, it's your big day - and you should be able to wear whatever makes you feel special.

Whether you wear a classic suit down the aisle or opt for something extravagant, you should make sure you have the right level of wedding insurance to cover it. By taking out a flexible wedding insurance policy, you can happily tailor your wedding insurance to suit you.
