The research revealed four interesting findings. One finding is that twenty-something males get a policy for a 112 percent more than their thirty-something equivalent. These twenty-something males also pay an annual average of £1004 on car insurance as compared to thirty-something males that pay only £473.

In the study, it was also found out that men pay more than women in their annual car insurance rates, and that they also pay an average of 71 percent more than women on their policy.

Companies are able to provide specialized services focused on specific areas. This includes catering specifically for trucks, 4×4's, motorbikes. Women are now being offered such kinds of services. This becomes possible because insurers have calculated insurance risks and found out that this kind of service evolves and the risks change. Women can handle these kind of vehicles mentioned above with small risks.

These findings are further supported by the data on claims. There is a lesser risk of doing claims from women drivers. This group is seen to be safer and more mature motorist. Because of this, they are given both cheaper and decrease of their premiums at a faster rate.

Giving low cost car insurance for women may have also to do with their better driving habits compare to men. It is seen that men care for driving as a mere task. For women, however, they consider driving as a challenge making them for careful when traveling in the road. This make them pay for lower premiums.
