Best Long Term Stock

Submitted by enelra

If you're currently looking for the "best" stocks you could invest your money on, focus only on those that promise good long term rewards. Why? It's simply because long term stocks are considered by many financial experts as the best stocks. The buy-and-hold will make you understand why.

The buy-and-hold strategy generally requires investors to buy stocks and then keep them for the long term (take note that long term here pertains to, at least, 10 years). The rationale behind this is that while the markets will likely experience ups and downs (stemming from numerous factors), the stock markets still tend to push upwards over time. Those who use the buy-and-hold strategy stand to make money over time than those that keep short term goals. If you find this reasonable, then you're ready to buy long term stocks.

Now, what are the stocks perfect for the buy-and-hold strategy? Well, we couldn't think of anything else other than "glamor stocks". Glamor stocks, are also called "growth stocks". They are shares in a company whose earnings are expected to grow at an above-average rate relative to the market. Currently, the shares that are considered "glamor stocks" belong to American Public Education, ATS Medical, Axsys Technologies, Ceragon Networks, and USEC.

If “Glamor stocks” sound too “glamorous and expensive” for you, you can still consider others. Just make sure that you do stock picking properly. Stock Picking is all about finding good stocks based on a certain set of criteria. Your aim on this is to achieve a rate of return that's greater than the market's overall average. But, we're warning you that Stock Picking isn't to be underestimated. If you're not really that adept when it comes to finance, you should just stick with glamor stocks.

If you're currently looking for the "best" stocks you could invest your money on, focus only on those that promise good long term rewards.
