Introduction - Our Law Firm can assist you with numerous investments in Latin America. We work in countries that are not dollarized and have sound economies. The nations are stable, the wages are extremely low and labor is abundantly available. The nations we use have strong gold reserves and foreign cash reserves. They are all democracies. We will categorize the investments below.
Hydro-Electric Plants - These are plants to generate electricity. The green ecological electricity has to be bought before the regular electricity. Thus the market is built in with excellent pricing. Generally these are turbine driven using rivers and waterfalls to turn the turbine. We have access to projects that are in existence and in operation and others that need to be built. Build out times generally run about 18 months. Projects can range in size. They start at around $3,000,000 and go up from there.
Gold Mines - There are gold mines for sale. They are mines in operation as well as mine projects. Geological reports, land rights or ownership. Licenses etc are all in place. Projects can vary in size.
Silver Mines - Silver mines are offered for sale. These are in operation or projects with studies, licenses and land rights or title. Projects can vary in size.
Oil Refineries - We have operating oil refineries for sale. They are producing daily. Output can vary. We also have new projects available with the licenses, land rights and geological studies, etc. Projects vary in size. The product will vary regarding API, from heavy crude to medium and light grade.
Iron, Copper, Nickel, Chromium, Nickel & Jade Mines - Existing operational mines are available as well as projects. Projects vary in size.
Agricultural Projects - Coffee, Bananas and Sugar projects are available. Different projects available.
Financing of Projects - There are owners of solid energy projects and other types of businesses that are seeking financing. Usually these are new startups. They will post share certificates of the corporation that owns the entire project as collateral against the loan which remains with the lender until the debt is retired. If there was a default the lender would essentially own the project. Sometimes there is an opportunity for an equity position in the project as well as an interest rate payment stream.
High Yield Government Anonymous Bearer Bonds - Government banked bonds paying 6% to 9%. Interest rates vary according to term. Term ranges up to 15 years. Bonds are bearer bonds, not registered bonds this makes them negotiable instruments. These are anonymous bonds. Whoever owns the bonds physically is the owner. No need to report changes in ownership to any entity. The bond owner can be an anonymous bearer share corporation. Said bearer share corporation can be transferred to others, in effect transferring title of the bonds. Interest is paid twice per year. Bonds are denominated in USD and Latin American Currencies. Minimum investment is $1,000,000. Ratings are BB/Stable, Ba1 which brings these in just under investment grade but the yield is significantly higher than investment grade issues.
