Car Log Book Loans – No Need to Place Your Car as Collateral

Do you need a bigger loan? You can get higher amounts of cash as loan if you place something valuable as collateral. But if you do not have any asset which you can place as collateral, you can ask for unsecured loans that often do not provide a heavy amount of money. But if you have a car, you can use its log book to avail a secured loan. This scheme is famous as car log book loans.

When you purchase and get a car registered, the government issues you a log book. It is a file that contains important information regarding your vehicle. It contains the car’s registration information, chassis number, engine number, and, other details. You have to keep the log book safely as it serves as evidence in many cases of different nature, including insurance claims.

As this is a very valuable document, the money lenders offer you car log book loans where you place the log book as collateral instead of handing over the keys of your car to the money lender for cash loan. You get to keep a Xerox copy of the log book if you want. The advantage of these loans is that the loan falls under the secured loan category.

As it is now a secured loan, you can ask for higher amounts of cash. Normally under the unsecured loans, you can avail up to $1500 for an average salary. If you avail a log book loan, you can take up to $50000 as loan. The money lenders process you application faster than the local bankers and you get the loan within 48 hours.

The repayment period of the car log book loans is based on the period left for the renewal of the log book. These log books are valid for six after the date of issue. So the repayment tenure depends on the period still left for the renewal.
