Can I Retire on The Beach? Try These Cheap Mexico Beachfront Lots

Submitted by Thomas Lloyd

How much can you afford for you retirement property? Enough for to live on the beachfront? If you're thinking, "No way!" think again. Consider these cheap Mexico beachfront lots and the benefits they include for a very low price!

The lots are located on a stretch of virgin beachfront, near a fishing village called Sabancuy in the state of Campeche, on the Yucatan Peninsula. They're about 6 hours away from Cancun, 3 hours away from Merida, and 45 minutes away from the city of Campeche.

Campeche is a colonial city, and a beautiful place to visit, and spend your days in town, when you drive in for shopping or dining. The narrow city streets have recently been bricked, with wiring placed underground, and the beautiful old architecture of many buildings and homes has been restored with paint and new moldings. There are restaurants, cafes, lush green parks, bars, pirate shows, and many other ways to enjoy this wonderful city; many tourists claim it is the cleanest and best kept up colonial city they've seen.

The city also includes modern services such as a Walmart and up-to-date new hospitals. The towns along the way to the lots also include restaurants, beachfront boardwalks and new health clinics.

About half way between the city and the lots there is a new development with a marina and golf course. condo developments have gone up, and are selling around $500,000 USD - it's these kinds of properties that make you think you can't afford a beachfront retirement property! But don't worry, those beachfront lots cost a whole lot less. The good news is that this kind of development is a sign that Campeche real estate is taking off, meaning that soon, there will be more services and activities in the area to make your retirement comfortable.

The lots down the road have direct access to the highway to Campeche, and back onto a beautiful lagoon, perfect for fishing or watching dolphins and other wildlife. Each lot has 66 feet (20 meters) of wide, soft beachfront, with clear, emerald water. Along the highway connections for everything from water to internet is going in. Building permits are guaranteed, and the land just a couple of yards back from the beach is raised enough and fairly flat for building.

So, considering those condos, the golf course, marina, colonial city, beautiful beaches, and easy building, how much would you guess one of these lots is worth?

Try $65,000 USD!

Sound exciting? Come visit these cheap Mexico beachfront lots, and start making plans for your retirement.
