Come Live in the Santa Clarita Valley

Submitted by andreaminden

Have you ever pictured yourself living in one of the most beautiful places in the world? No, not London or Paris, but a place right here in California, only a short commute from Los Angeles? If you have ever wanted to live in a beautiful place, then the Santa Clarita Valley is for you.

The Santa Clarita Valley is home to the most scenic views in California. No smog or exhaust fumes here. The clear mountain air is cool and refreshing after a long day in the city. The lush valley floor and sweeping foothills bring you right to the brink of the mountains. The small, quaint villages and larger housing communities sit in the midst of nature’s wonders. Many communities are even surrounded by national forest, bringing nature’s beauty right to your front door. But there is more to this beautiful landscape than meets the eye.

The communities in the Santa Clarita Valley are made up of hard working people who love the fast-paced working environment of the big city, but who are wise enough not to live there. These are the ones who want economic success without sacrificing peace and privacy. And these same people are some of the best neighbors you could have. From community get-togethers to sporting events, the sense of community is palpable.

For those living within its flora-covered walls, the Santa Clarita Valley is practically booming with exciting new stores and entertainment areas. One of the largest paintball parks in southern California is located in Castaic. And Valencia boasts California’s first PGA Tour facility, a perfect place to improve your golfing prowess. Town centers full of small specialty stores, movie theaters, gaming centers, and larger superstores offer each family member a place to spend an enjoyable day.

Families flock to these established communities from all over southern California, tucking themselves away between the rolling hills and picturesque views. The communities themselves were built around master plans that take individual families into account. Many communities have large park areas and community programs for the children. The school districts are award winning, offering superior education and a much lower drop-out rate than any of the other school systems in the area. And the there is never a shortage of things to do.

Several hiking trails, ranging from easy to strenuous, wind around the foothills and higher mountain passes. Glistening lakes in the Frazier Park area offer boating and fishing opportunities for weekend outings and camping trips. And during winter months, the ski runs are open and the powder is fresh. Not to mention that Six Flags Magic Mountain is located within a few miles, and Disneyland is only an hour away.

Being in such close proximity to Los Angeles, you are never far away from the glamorous night life of the city. Concerts and shows, clubs and parties, all of these are a quick car-ride down the hill. And yet, the exquisite sight of snow-peaked hills and strong, green trees growing free in beautiful sunny California abounds in your backyard. So, don’t just picture living in a beautiful place, come live in a beautiful place. Come to the Santa Clarita Valley.
