Getting an empty house ready sell? An Artificial Tree is the key!

Plants and Trees are one of the many things that help make a home look like a home. The trouble is that if you are not living in a home keeping a live plant or tree alive is impossible. Because of the tough marketplace sellers are calling in staging companies to creat a minimal decorating standard so the home does not look empty. Studies have shown that a decorated home will sell faster than an empty house.
The problem is that most people have tens of thousands of dollars invested in decorating their homes and can rarely afford to fully decorate two homes. For an upper income home this is a an easy task, they hire a staging company that comes in and decorates with rental furniture and they fill it with plants and trees and they show up every day to take care of everything. When you have a more modest home, this is like doubling your realtor fees.
So here is some simple tips to help. Rent the basic furniture from a local rental center. Get enough to fill the living room, dining area and a bedroom. If you have more than one bedroom, look on something like Craigslist.org – browse the free section for some OK looking used furniture for filler pieces. Spend some money and buy an Artificial Tree and maybe a few inexpensive floor plants. Go to a local thrift store and buy some towels for the bathroom and a few pictures that match your décor. When you're all done, you'll likely have spent $200-300 to get decorated home. When the home sells, donate what you can and list the rest for free on craigslist so someone else can do what you do.
If the house takes longer to sell than a month, go back and tidy up a little bit.
Here's one more trick, if you're landscaping is pretty sad looking, you can buy some fake plants to give it more appeal. While very few of these are made for outdoors use, they will typically last long enough to sell the house and still be in good enough shape to donate.
An artificial tree is a perfect tool for this because it takes up a fair amount of space to help the décor look more liveable. The colors of a fake tree usually go well anywhere and they make people fell right at home. These can be found from 5' to 12' so you can buy a size that best fits the space.
An Artificial Tree will make buyers feel right at home.
