Groombridge Land stay close to the borders of Kent and Sussex. In fact, some part of Groombridge actually falls over into the adjoining county and hence there is some local controversy about whether it should remain as it is or should absorbed by one of the two counties.

Groombridge Land is surrounded by greenbelt and undeveloped barren land. considerate development of this kind of land would help in creating jobs opportunities in rural areas, and by increasing supply of land the house prices would become affordable to new buyers who are young and belong to low earning category.

Hence the Government should take the initiative to bring down the ever increasing price of residential and commercial land by providing planning permission on the un-developed greenbelt and green field.
