Development image of this city has changed during the last few years. Now the next achievement is arrival of metro here.

Ghaziabad was inhabited in 1740 by Gazi-u-ddin. This place was named Gazi-u-ddin Nagar at his name only. Nevertheless Gazi-u-ddin was very much fond of vaastu and development during those days. Concept of PPP

U.P. Govt. is apprehending that if the breeze of development has to flow, then association with PPP (Public Private Partnership) is almost essential. To fight against the infrastructure like problem i.e. constantly increasing number of houses, roads, electricity, water, cleanliness and transportation etc, U.P. government is preparing plans in association with private sector. Simultaneously, rules and regulations are also being relaxed for developers so that the problem of houses may be mitigated.

Keeping this in view, the GDA had recently issued some licenses to the developers. As per the blue prints presented at the moment, seeing them it can be said that he developers will construct such buildings which will consist world-class facilities. Sections 4 and 6 of land Acquisition Act have also been amended for the purpose of Detailed Project Report (DPR) in some cases. Presently, in most of the cases, the process of acquision of farmers land is being completed based on the plicy.

The government is also planning to construct a high-tech city under the private partnership itself. This city will be constructed keeping in view the low population and environment. It will also consist the modern facilites like 24 hours electricity and water supply, wide roads and parking space, scientific disposal of solid waste and wi-fi connectivity etc. etc. this project is to be constructed at NH-24 ( on Delhi Hapur road). On other side of this city will be NH-91 also. Adjoing itself, the eastern-states including Delhi.
