Sell Your Property and Save Money with Florida Flat Fee Realtors

Submitted by Adam Waxler

We're living in extremely tough economic conditions, specifically in the state of Florida and specifically in the housing market. Its now been a few years since we were able to stick a "for sale" sign in the front yard in the morning and have the home sold by that night. Sorry to say, that ship has since sailed and if you want to sell your house in the present environment, you'll want a realtor at your side. The reason being a real estate agent will be able to position your house in such a way that it can get the most exposure.

The way that they can manage this, in part, is by listing your home in your local multiple listing service, or MLS. An MLS, or multiple listing service, is a compilation of real estate listings that are offered on either a national or very local level. Although typically, you will have to pay a percentage to the real estate agent once your home sells, it is also possible to select one of the Florida flat fee realtors that exist. This has a major advantage for you...you save money!

Florida flat fee realtors can place your house on the MLS the same way a "regular" real estate professional will. The real difference is that Florida flat fee realtors only charge a single fee as opposed to having to pay a portion of the sale price of the house. Since some Florida flat fee realtors will ask you for as little as $300, this can add up to a significant savings. This is a good way for you to save money while still being positioned in such a way that the home can sell quickly.
