All About Income Tax Levels

Submitted by enelra

Tax is something that we can't evade, not just because we'll be jailed if we do so, but also because it's simply a part of life. Think about it, without tax, there wouldn't be lottery and all those other public service “rubbish” from the government for the less privileged. Remember the rule of reciprocity our religion professors have once discussed? Plus, the government is NOT financially self-sufficient.

But we're not trying to ignore the fact that most tax charges only land on the hands of filthy money-eating politicians. Of course we know and understand that too. Since we can't really do anything to punish them, what we can do is to just start looking at the bright side of tax: there is tax and there are federal income tax levels not just because politicians are lazy (oh, did we just say something bad about politicians, again?) but because we need to follow the rule of reciprocity.

You may also engage in tax planning. Your objective under this is to minimize all your future tax liability and to fulfill your overall future financial planning goals with minimal tax consequences. You can read about tax planning (all the basics) on AICPA's Personal Financial Planning (pfp.aicpa.org). They provide very comprehensive discussions on how Tax planning is done and why it's important.

So, the next time that you view your payslip, don't get dismayed at the sight of “government tax” in the deductions portion. Forget about the the face of the politicians you loathe and think about reciprocity. At least, there's something good related to tax.

Tax is something that we can't evade, not just because we'll be jailed if we do so, but also because it's simply a part of life.
