Why Are There Currently So Many Forex Products Being Sold Online?

If you've been trading forex online for a reasonable amount of time, you will undoubtedly have noticed that there are now more forex products being sold than ever before. New products are coming onto the market on a regular basis, so why is this, and how effective are these products in reality?

Well unfortunately this is a trend that isn't necessarily beneficial for the end user, ie the forex trader who is looking to increase their profits. If all of these products were as profitable as they make out to be, then we would all be living on a tropical island somewhere counting our money.
However the sad truth is that many of these products promise vast riches but actually deliver very little. Most of these products have the same style sales page and have been written by top copywriters so that they get as many sales as possible.

The trouble is that many marketers noticed that the forex trading industry was becoming more and more popular and they spotted an opportunity to make some money. It's not hard to come up with your own product because a lot of unscrupulous marketers will simply visit one of the many different forex forums, pinch someone else's system and sell it themselves using their fancy sales pages.

It's the same story with several of the forex robots that have come onto the market in recent months. Many people are now programming and testing out ideas for a new robot in order to find one that is able to generate decent profits based on historical backtesting data. The trouble with this is that market conditions change and a robot that produced decent returns in the past may not be as profitable trading a real money account in today's markets.

Of course it should be pointed out that there are some excellent forex products being sold as well. These are usually the ones created by actual forex traders, rather than internet marketers, but they are sadly outnumbered by the poor quality heavily marketed products. However they can still be discovered if you are prepared to do a bit of research and seek the opinions of customers who have actually bought many of these products.

I would always recommend you try and come up with your own profitable system if you can but if you are unable to do so, then you can always buy a forex expert advisor or a forex trading system which you can use or modify yourself. Some of my most profitable strategies have been developed as a direct result of reading some of the forex ebooks that I have bought in recent years, so they can definitely be beneficial.
