Milk Intolerance is Different from Lactose Intolerance

Although Milk Intolerance and Lactose Intolerance appear similar in conditions but there are really different from each other. The common thing is that the sufferers are afflicted by various symptoms whenever they consume cow's milk -which, in today's society can cause several health problems in many people. It is often recommended to use cow's milk in your daily diet to make proper intake of calcium, iron and proteins to your body. Although, it is possible to take a healthy diet without the use of dairy products, many people consume meals and snacks that include milk, cheese and yogurt. However, regular use of such dairy products results in milk allergies put your health at a price. There are solutions to these problems, though.

Milk Intolerance is a condition in which body reacts badly against the proteins found in milk. It is quite different from lactose intolerance and the recommended course of action is to switch to vegan alternatives that contain no dairy products. Lactose Intolerance is known as an inability to metabolise lactose. Many people in all over the world are affected from this allergy in varying levels of severity - it is more common to a person to be lactose intolerant than to be able to digest sugar.

Lactose Intolerance can be treated with same instructions and precautions as in Milk Intolerance. It is understood that the people affected from Milk Intolerance cannot take the pleasure of consuming dairy products without putting their health at risk, lactose intolerance sufferers can adopt the alternative ways and enjoy their favorite foods and drinks.

Today there are numerous lactose-free dairy products which anyone can consume without getting worried about health issues with lactose. More and more supermarkets and shops are maintaining a good stock of lactose-free dairy products, from milk to yogurt to cheese.
