Pukka Herbs Launches Range Of Triple Blends

Submitted by tugsearch
Fri, 16 Jan 2009

Organic herbal expert, Pukka Herbs, has expanded its range of teas with the launch of three delicious and healthy “triple blends”. The new herbal and fruit teas, Three Mint, Three Ginger and Three Berry, are powerful blends that combine three types of the main ingredient.

Sebastian Pole, Pukka Herb’s herbal director and co-founder, created these unique formulas, ensuring they delivered real punch and flavour. Unlike some herbal and fruit teas, and true to the entire Pukka range, there are no ‘fillers’, articifical ingredients or added sweeteners.

Three Mint tea is sweet and fresh, with a delicately aromatic scent. The flavour comes from the mix of peppermint leaf, spearmint leaf and, uniquely, fieldmint leaf. Mint has been used to support health for thousands of years in many different cultures. It will help with digestion and refreshes the palate.

Three Ginger tea is rich, spicy and stimulating, with three different roots from the ginger family having been combined to create the fullest possible flavour. Three Ginger tea contains ginger root, galangal root, and golden turmeric root and is designed to warm circulation, settle digestion and uplift spirits.

Three Berry tea is Pukka’s first ever fruit tea and it is delicately sweet and bursting with real berries. Berries have long been used in traditional healing and the combination of elderberry, blueberry and blackberry used in this tea guarantee a high level of antioxidants.

Sebastian Pole, is a highly experienced herbalist and traditional healthcare practitioner, he created the teas based on the ancient Indian wisdom of Ayurveda. He said:

“This new range of teas fills a gap in the market. Mint, ginger and berry teas are already very popular, but until now no-one has created really powerful combinations that make the most of different ingredients from the same family.

“While berries have long been used in healthcare and they are a vital ingredient in some of our remedies, this berry tea is a first for Pukka. With our long experience in creating perfect, tasty, health-giving blends, we believe that this fruit tea will be very successful.”

Pukka Herbs now sells 17 teas alongside its wide range of organic Ayurvedic remedies and oils. For more information about stocking teas, or for product samples please email sales@pukkaherbs.com, or telephone 0117 9640944.
