Choosing Winning Lottery Numbers

Do you buy lotto tickets and daydream sweet dreams about winning millions of dollars?  Or, maybe just thousands of dollars?  Do you attempt, without success, to pick the winning lottery numbers in daily Pick-3, Pick-4, Pick-5, and Pick-6 number games?

Likewise, most people believe that by playing the same six numbers in every drawing, they increase their odds of winning the lotto.  But, in the twice weekly New York Pick-6 (from a field of 59 numbers) Lotto game, each six-number set has a chance of hitting once in every 433,245 years!  So, it would be fruitless to play the same six numbers week after week, year after year, because you think they are "due" to hit\win. Would you wager your money on a racehorse that had lost its past 20, 30, or 50 races, believing the horse is "due" to win?  Of course not!
