Easy Web ContentSubmitted by danwhitfield410 Wed, 29 Jun 2011
One of the available site builders out there is the one created by Easy WebContent.
Creating a good website might be hard but much more achievable than it was in the past. Simple drag and drop icons in the Easy Webcontent site builder makes it easy to see an instant visual of what your site visitor would look at. A good website would have a fantastic design and interesting content for the user to read. A good website should cater to the audience rather than search engines. There are many ways to manipulate the google search engine results but in the end, you want to keep your audience happy. Easy WebContent will help you all the way. Easy WebContent has been in development and testing for over a year. The site builder helps solve the frustrations from other existing site builders. Frustrations such as design elements, layout configurations, and adding simple widgets. The extensive FAQ and help section will walk you along and provide step by step procedures on all of our features. A general overview shows that the builder has been solidly built. The main toolbar is broken into 2 main sections. One is design and one is content. Each element inserted can be custom designed to your preferences. The subcategories for design are theme, color scheme, layout, style, and advanced. These subcategories can handle almost all of your design needs for your website. The subcategories for content are empty columns, text, image & media, goodies and forms. A wide variety of options are available through out the system. The themes options are basic and is a good template to start with. There should be more variety but as the system matures, there will be more to come. Color schemes could be more involving or engaging to use. Not all the colors are included like yellow, green, or some more basic colors. No option to save a custom color scheme is quite a hassle to deal with. Especially if you forgot which colors you used last time. Layout and style are quite useful in changing specific aspects of the design Content management is a bit more rough. This is where the frustrations started to occur. Little things such as resizing the pictures to column management was hard to deal with. A beginning user will surely be frustrated once they learn that most of the time, they would need at least 2 to 3 columns to make his website look decent. No option to add a column further frustrates a user because they have to copy the original content to a notepad and then paste it back. Further more the lack of working widget and forms does not fully represent the system that is ready for the main stream. As with any new system, there are hiccups and bumps. Ironing them out will take some time and as long as the developer keep improving the system, it should get better. The core features are there and it can appeal to a niche market. Right now it's not quite the beginner market but rather people that want a website up fast. This is a quick solution to get a basic site up. Unfortunately, the more advanced and more graphical features are not up to par with other site builders edit website pages
