People, especially teens and young adults, love to play games --- games that involve alcohol drinking. Most people enjoy this because it involves beer, challenge, and fun. One of the most common games is beer pong. Beer pong is called by different names or terms, depending on the area and people playing the game.

Beer pong is a drinking game, popularized by American university students. This is typically played by two teams with two players per team, although it can also be played one on one. Beer pong may have general or universal rules, but it can have some variations and additions, depending on the place where it is played and depending on the group of people who plays it.

Beer pong is played by having both teams stand on their respective sides of the pong table. Both sides of the table will each assemble equilateral triangles with the convergence point targeting on the other side, and the base of the triangle is aligned with the edge of the table. Each team will use six or ten cups or even more of solo or Dixie 16 oz cups; these cups are used because it has ridgelines that can be used to measure the amount of beer. There must be "courtesy cups" or "water cups" on each side that are filled with water to be used as a rinsing cup for the balls that have dropped on the floor. The balls that are ideal for beer pong are the 40mm table tennis balls, but in some universities, a quarter dollar is often used to play this game. In beer pong, what's usually used is low grade pale lager or light beer. This is because large quantities can be consumed in the course of many games.

Playing beer pong is quite simple if you have the good hand at throwing and shooting. The aim of beer pong is to have the beer pong ball land in a cup of the other team, and when it does, the other team consumes that cup's beer. The aim is to eliminate the other team's cups before your own cups are eliminated. For the losing team, they must consume the remaining beer in the winning team's cups.

With the love for fun, games, challenges, and beer that people especially university students have created this game. Beer pong has truly gone a long way that there are even beer pong tournaments and competitions these days.
