I just deleted two users from my Article Directory who had made an account and filled the DB with over 200 near identical drafts without one single article approved for the public. Is this a spammer thingey and if so, what good does it do for them to have all those drafts?

Then there are the articles that seem to have a zillion hits and I can't trace where they have even been visited. There is an author that wrote a couple of articles about Cerebral Palsy and Drug Therapies. How are they getting the hits up so far without page visits?

I've been considering banning this particular user for inflating hits but not even sure if I should.

I checked the figures on three of my stats programs. They were artificially generated hits. I banned them. Man, I hate doing that...

I have had a few of them and I just reset their stats to zero or kill the article. it takes me 2 seconds to spot them and 1 second to kill the article. Cat and mouse game.
