Hello

Is there any way to add a sponsor ad on a specific category page without it showing on all pages?
Or can I create a custom page and import a specific category page?

Thanks

Bob

the easiest way is to use the category description in the 'edit categories' section.
You can add html code in there as well

variable to use  in template {$Category->description}

Hi Anne

I have the ad thing worked out.

Can I create a page or custom page and import the category article list, (the same thing you would see if you clicked on a category),  into that custom page?

Bob

You can create a new block and make it "standalone". this will allow you to use variables (you can't do that with "pages"...you can copy the code over from whatever other template you want..as well you can call any block into it that you want. so you could maybe call $Blocks->categorymap.

<a href="{$this->relpath}standalonename/">standalone name</a>
