Suddenly, the world starts to close in around you. Your pulse quickens and your breathing becomes labored. You can feel it coming on and yet, you feel there is no way for you to control it. A simpler explanation of how you feel is panicked, other wise known as an Anxiety disorder. If no one has told you before, anxiety is a normal feeling. We all feel anxious at some point in our lives. It could be wedding jitters, you could be nervous about an assignment or a performance, or you could feel stressed at the thought of too much to do and too little time. This is all normal, but sometimes the way in which we deal with it is not normal.

Those with an Anxiety disorder have difficulty living life as most people. Anxiety in itself is not a disorder, but it becomes an Anxiety disorder when the feeling of being anxious is coupled with a constant and crippling fear. Some symptoms are very mild and can include sweating, heavy breathing or shortness of breath, and hot flashes. If your feelings catapult you into a suffocating terror of going insane, you should seek treatment immediately.

A health care professional is likely going to hand you a prescription and send you on your way. Some sufferers may accept this course of action, but others will continue seeking a cure. A medical prescription is going to hide the problem and make you and others feel like it is nonexistent. In reality, you become dependent on the prescription. You may experience an anxiety attack if your prescription runs out and you can't get in to see the doctor. Then what? What answer will a medical professional give you? What has the doctor offered to do for the effects Anxiety disorder has had on your body? Has he or she acknowledged to you that your organs can suffer?

For those who want a medication free cure so that you never have to experience an anxiety disorder again there is help out there. Firstly you should know you are not alone. Our site has a wide range of information to help answer all the questions you have about Anxiety disorder. It's understandable that you would be skeptical after years of suffering, but what can it hurt to try the advice of someone new? Someone who has suffered and can truly meet you where you are.
