How much money are you willing to pay for an automated external defibrillator? Even though money should not be the primary reason for buying, you definitely need to keep this in mind. Before moving on, you should know that having an automated external defibrillator on hand can save lives. Can you put a cost on a human life? It would be in your best interest to find money in your budget for one of these units if you totally believe that it could be useful to your organization.

Even though it would be nice for everybody and every organization and school to have at least once automated external defibrillator, this is not the case for many reasons including the high price tag.

Entry level automated external defibrillators cost roughly $1,200. This is a big investment, but it is also one that could pay off in the future. As you begin to learn more and more about automated external defibrillators you will find that some units cost as much as $3,000. These offer more features, but do not necessarily work any better. The amount of money that you spend depends mainly on your budget and what you are most interested in buying.

There is no denying that automated external defibrillators can cost a bit of money. But for what you get this is a good investment. If you are in need of an automated external defibrillator you should do some research to decide if this is a purchase that you can afford to make in the near future.
