9 out of 10 Asian women are complaining about the enlarged pores on skin, it is very common especially for tropical climate, basically in T zone area which is nose, forehead and cheek areas. Hormone and genetic determine your pore size, the more sebum are produced by your skin, the more noticeable and large pores you have. Clogging pores may cause your pores become enlarged too, excess surface oil and dead skin cells accumulate underneath the skin, making the pores appear large. These sebum plugs inside may lead to blackheads, whiteheads and pimples.

What you can do to your enlarged pores? Firstly, reduce oil on your face. When you skin becomes very oily and covered with a layer of surface sebum. This cause your pores become oversized. Using oil-controlling products and oil-free or water based cosmetic to make your skin stay matter and anti-shine.

Secondly, exfoliation can help your enlarged pores. Blackheads which turn your skin to dark and make the pores more noticeable. Exfoliants can get better the appearance of large pores by removing sebum and dead skin cells that clogged inside the pores. This helps your skin smoother and more radiant complexion. There are two types of exfoliants - physical and chemical exfoliants. Two types of exfoliants help improving skin of dullness and dead cells. Physical exfoliants are products like facial scrubs; hence, chemical exfoliants are products which are AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and BHA (salicylic acids), removing dirt and debris from your skin. Have your exfoliation often but don't too frequently, once or twice a week, you can avoid from excessive sebum and dead skin cells which can enlarged your pores.

Thirdly, using illuminating products which contain lightening or light-diffusing particles can solve the problem. Pores look enlarged because there is poor light reflection within the pores, as a result, making them appear dark and observable. Light-diffusing catch the light and reflect it back more equally to create brilliant and poreless complexion.

There are many people believe that you can't do anything to deal with enlarged pores, this is mislead thinking. With these 3 simple ways, you can shrink your pores and appear in better and clearer skin.
